You better start walking! - Roads update

Progress is slow... It is a hobby after all you know!

But hey! Just a couple of screenshots from the game of the roads, and then a picture of all the roads completed so far :) So here we go!

Project name change - GTA: Glyn

I've decided to change the project to GTA: Glyn.

Seeing as I started with the school, and I'm adding the important areas in and around the school it only makes sense.

I've changed the loading screen logos and also the menu screen logo from the Ewell ones. Other than that, no real change!

Trying to work out how to change the pink font.. shouldn't be long now!
Changing the images on this soon... No rush though!

Driving on by...

With Glyn school pretty much complete, apart from the odd texture.. I have made a start on the roads around the school area. Here's a couple of screenshots.

I added the school gates aswell, both for Hessel Grove and The front entrance.

Excuse the white on the gates, I still need to make them transparent with an alpha.

Very quick update! Just to say the project IS still going!

Been pretty busy... Skiing was the highlight however :D

Now that's how I remember it!

So, it's been a couple of days, combined with an eventful weekend meeting up with the chaps and fixing a roof on a shed, which for your information is actually bigger than my house, but that's another story...

I have some great news on the mod front! I have now completed the main modelling for Glyn School, including the floor/field/paths/stairs areas, and that's a lot of area.

The next two screenshots aren't overly clear, but you will be able to see the variation in textures used on the floors. Here they are!

Interesting huh? So what's next? Continue expanding out from the school making the surrounding area?!

Nah, i've started retexturing the current buildings : D Here's the first building which is now 100% Complete.

Now that's how I remember it.
So, the texturing has begun! I'm going to keep most of the textures how they are at the moment, and only add new little bits and pieces, such as doors and window fixes!

Construction Work Complete

Glyn School is now complete! Well sort of...

I have now completed all the buildings within the school, which is great, but it isn't all flat!

It's a render, I know... but you can trust me that it's all ingame.. Can't you?!
I will be making a start on the elevation areas of the school sometime tomorrow... It'll probably take a while, so I will make a start on some retextures on the current models. Some of these can stay the same, but some are awful. ¬_¬"

I'll let you know what happens with the progress of the school floor area anyhow, and hopefully show off something tomorrow!
